What a Responsible Person is
A Responsible Person is a named legal entity in the United Kingdom or the European Union that stands behind the product with the authorities. The name and address belong on the product, its packaging, or the paperwork that goes with it, once that version has been represented.
Blue Peak is the membership you work in. The entity on the pack is a named company in London for the UK, or in Barcelona for the EU. Paying for a membership starts the work. It does not mean a product is approved, and it does not release those details.
UK and EU are two markets
The United Kingdom and the European Union each need their own Responsible Person. A membership includes representation for your primary market. You can add the other market when you need it.
UK details come from AF PHARMA SERVICE UK LTD in London. EU details come from AF PHARMA SERVICE EUROPE SL in Barcelona. You see the right name on the family that is represented, for the version we reviewed.
When you can use the details
From the moment a family shows as represented, and only on that family, for the version we approved. Same design, same materials, same intended use, same manufacturer.
Using the details on a family we have not represented would be claiming something we have not checked. If you are about to print and you are not certain, ask us first.
What happens if a product changes
Tell us before the changed version goes on sale. We look at what changed against the version we approved and tell you whether it affects anything. Most changes do not. Reporting a change does not mean starting again.

Do I need a Responsible Person for both the UK and the EU?
If you sell in both, yes. They are separate markets with separate entities. Membership includes your primary market. Add the other when you are ready to sell there.
Can I put Blue Peak's address on my pack today?
Only on a family that shows as represented, for the version we reviewed. Paying does not skip that step.
Who is named as the Responsible Person?
A legal entity in London for the UK, and a legal entity in Barcelona for the EU. Blue Peak is the membership and the workspace. The pack shows the entity for that market.
